Infographic: Anatomy of an AWOL Unwind

This is an infographic I made for my digital media class. The Unwind Dystology by Neal Shusterman is one of my favorite series of all time. After a second Civil War fought over abortion rights, the United States holds together through a sanction for unwinding. Essentially, all conceived embryos must be carried to term, but should the parents decide that they still do not want the child, they can be donated to the government between ages 13-18 to be dismantled for parts.

Unwind really resonated with me throughout high school. It's a story about rising above the odds, leadership, and belonging. The main characters fight for their right to stay whole, but they do not make progress unscathed. This infographic shows some of the physical marks left by the fight for wholeness.
